I am a fan (and you should be too), because.... DAUGHTRY is the total package. Chris has an incredible voice and he knows how to use it. He puts so much passion and emotion into every lyric. But I am also a fan of the man. Chris knows what is important in life. When I bought the CD on November 21st, after putting it in the CD player in my car, I read the thank page on the liner notes while listening. How many rockers would put God and Jesus in the first two thank you’s. Then the way he thanks Deanna, Hannah, and Griffin had me in tears. He is so appreciative of everyone who has helped him, and supported him, on this journey. And he did not forget to thank his fans. We love him, and he acknowledges all the support we have given him. The first time I saw the preview of the music video, I had tears streaming down my face by the end. I was so proud to see what he had accomplished. And he does not disappoint- from hearing how gracious he is during interviews, to seeing him sing the best rendition of our National Anthem that I have ever heard. I cannot begin to properly say what this man has brought into my life. I have regained a part of myself that got misplaced while raising children, my rocker self. I have been reinvigorated by DAUGHTRY’s music. I feel so alive! I’ve even started taking drum lessons. I’ve done things I never would have dreamed of, like getting a myspace page so that I could communicate with the members of DAUGHTRY. I have sent messages and received replies from several band members. These guys are down to earth and really do care about their fans. Chris always said that he did not want to be a solo artist, and in finding Josh, Josh, Joey, Jeremy(whom I wish well), and now Brian, the members of DAUGHTRY have proven that they are extremely talented musicians who are also great guys.
