I found it rude how every tv show that mentioned the super bowl and the people who sang, never mentioned Daughtry. Even if they only performed one song, they still should've said something.

MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. (AP) — They are on opposing sides, but Indianapolis Colts and New Orleans Saints fans found something to bond over at the Super Bowl on Sunday — a Daughtry (daw-TREE')concert.

Black and gold mixed with Colts blue as the rockers performed before the game. Lead singer Chris Daughtry joked that he was able to bring together a rowdy group.

He said: "There was a lot of segregation ... a lot of fights getting ready to break out."

Guitarist Josh Steely interjected: "He eased that crowd though."

While The Who is the main entertainment for the Super Bowl, performing at the halftime show, and Carrie Underwood and Queen Latifah are singing the national anthem and "America the Beautiful" before kickoff respectively, there was still other entertainment at the game. Besides Daughtry, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Steve Winwood performed.

Chris Daughtry said the biggest challenge for the band, who performed several songs including the hit "Home," was not winning over a crowd more interested in football than music, but getting themselves hyped up so early in the day.

"We're used to nighttime shows. ... but you just have to roll with it and pretend it's nighttime," he said.

While most of the band said they were rooting for the Saints, they still gave Colts fans some love. Chris Daughtry high-fived with a crowd of mostly Colts fans hanging out at a fence behind the stage, and later, he threw out guitar picks for the crowd.

The band kicks of a U.S. tour next month.

I was surprised that Chris grew some hair. Lookd pretty awesome!

I'm filled with DAUGHTRY PRIDE!!! Seems to always happen to me!!! So, at least CBS shared with us a smidge of the set.......a short, but very SWEEEEET smidge!!! LOVED IT!!!!! AND......the best commercial of the night....the March Madness one, of course!!

I saw you on CBS's Tailgate party. I only saw one song though. They really didn't show you singing anything other than "Life After You". The new do was quite a shock. You're gorgeous no matter what you do, but I was quite a bit surprised. So used to seeing you without hair. It's very sexy. I realize it can keep your head much warmer than having no hair, but, I'd rather you shave it again. It's a whole 'nother you. I'd like to request you "lose the hair" and "lose the taky pyro". Always and forever your fan.

I liekd the performance and they did good but it was kind of a letdown b/c I was made to believe we'd here more than one song. Not a great day at all. Boo. but Daughtry your rocked Life After You and looked amazing. And love the hair chris!!

...the Super Bowl performance - the flow of the whole hair-beard thing. What a great look! My hubby and I love it. And I was trepidatious, wondering if you were really growing out your hair and how it would look. But all of us should have.known... when you do things, you do them to prefection.

Oh and we loved the LAY performance too and the March Madness spot! Who would have thought Super Bowl Sunday would = Daughtry Day. Loved hearing ETYTA and hope it means that will be the next single.

I really enjoyed watching you guys perform "Life After You", it is one of my favs. But I'm disappointed Ithat they didn't show more of your performances. Wish I was there, espcecially since I live here!

Anyway...loved to see you there...enjoy the game...personally, I hate football, so turning this on to see you guys was my only reason to view any of the Super Bowl...sorry football fans.....but I love music...not football! I'll find a good movie to watch, but told my hubby to let me know when the Who comes on..... lol

GRRRR do these announcers ever shut up I hear DAUGHTRY in the background doing their 45 min set and all they showed was one song....cumon more DAUGHTRY!!!!!!
