I get up at 5 a.m. to get ready for work every day and by 9 p.m. I am fast asleep. Last night (1/6/10) I had to force myself to stay away to watch the awards show, hoping that our favorite band would win the award. Unfortunately, watching it from beginning to end, I never saw any annoucement for best band. At 11 p.m. I collapsed into my bed. Sorry guys, I was rootin' for ya! Glad to hear about "No Surprise" going platinum...Congrats! Can't wait for your next tour in the States. Luv U <3

Sad,that the best band in the world didn't win!!!! But they are the best band && Chris is the best singer ever accordin to me!!!!! So they will ALWAYS be #1 accordin to me:) Lov 'em!!!!!! && does anyone know when they said that category cuz i only missed like the two minutes in the beginning && i never once heard "best Rcok Band of the year" or somethin like that,i never heard that actegory so does anybody know what time they said that cuz i watch the whole thing,just wonderin. Well Daughtry IS AMAZZZINGGG!!!!!!!! && they have many award show && nominations that they will be up for ahead of them!!!! I have never heard of the winning band!

Their first year, Daughtry won awards while they were new - like so many others do. But now are proving that they are more than just 'one hit wonders'!

They'll be around for a long time. They've earnt respect and admiration from others who have been in the music business a long time, as well as continually gaining more fans right round the world - and the original ones staying as loyal and supportive as ever.

but Daughtry did not win last night. The award went to the group Paramore instead. I agree with what y'all said and it doesn't matter if they do or don't win, because they have won our hearts and our devotion and that's what matters. ...did I fall asleep while the show was airing?Waited and waited to hear about the award for favorite rock group and I didn't, nor did my husband remember it even being mentioned??Am really confused this morning about that...Checked in here and find that Paramore won. I can't saying anything about them because I have NEVER heard any of their music anywhere!
I am sticking with my guys!!Got to hear them on the radio at our new HOME construction site yesterday even over the buzzing equipment, hammering and drilling, I could hear Chris' voice and that my friends is the majestic sound of the best rock group on the planet!! This "people" has spoken and made her choice!

The BEST way for us to support our guys is to BUY THEIR ALBUMS and GO TO THEIR CONCERTS....we all have the LTT cd, I know, and we all try to get to as many shows as time, location and $ allow us to, but we can do MORE.....we can all go out and buy another cd...hell, we don't even hafta go OUT...we can do it from our pc's......

I didn't even bother to watch the PCA show....I knew our guys weren't gonna win.....awards are about the flavor of the month....the general public is fickle and easily distracted....I mean, COME ON, Taylor Swift is cute and perky, but there is NFW she's a better singer/entertainer than Carrie Underwood!

And what has winnin a Grammy done for Amy Winehouse? Anyone heard anything (other than fistfights and drug overdoses) about HER lately? See what I mean?

An artist's longevity in the music business is ALL about album sales.....you can win every award that comes down the pike, but that ain't gonna mean squat if your bottom line doesn't make your label happy.....so, if we want OUR guys to be around for a long, long time, we gotta spring for more cd's and more shows.(tell all our friends, too!).....really, how much is THAT gonna hurt us?

Just had to repeat myself......

Sad we didn't get in enough votes for our guys to win; hoping that Chris, Brian, JP, Steely and Joey don't put much "emphasis" on these award programs/contests.

Doing what they love.......hopefully, that is enough of a "reward" for all of them, so when they perform and also hold VIP events, their "trophies" are hugs, requests for autographs, conversations with fans and lots of picture taking.

I wish I would have done more to vote and give them this award they so deserve. I can't believe it went to Paramore like you have said b/c I would not have thought they would have won it with the lineup. You guys are always the true winner in my heart and always will be. You can rock out better than anybody else and that'll always be the case. I have so much faith, love, support, and enthusaism for you!! Keep rockin' boys. There are plenty of awards for you to win in the future.

You know what I hate? When I watch these awards shows it's always like the ones I am most looking forward to are the ones that are not given live. It's a pain. Thank God for Johnny Depp taking home his not only for favorite movie actor but movie actor of the decade. He's brilliant and they saved best for last.

Paramore won?! I saw them open for No Doubt and they were pretty good but not incredibly amazing like our talented guys DAUGHTRY!!! I voted for Daughtry like 100 times and they really, really deserved it!! Disappointed and confused!

Hey guys!!!! I took my 14 yr old son to his first concert which was to see you guys in Shreveport!!!! We loved it!!! When we got home he said that was the best night of his life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Wow that made my heart melt!!! Thanks for putting on such a Great show we both really enjoyed it!!! We are looking foward to seeingyou again in Shreveport or Dallas!!!!!!! Hope all our voting pays off...you guys deserve to win...I am putting pics in a photo album tonight...way behind...by over a year doing this and all the memories of past concerts are making me realize how hard you guys work to put on such great shows for us all. The Clearfield show in 8-2008 was one of my favorites...how'd you write all the new LLT songs while on such a busy tour? I know you wrote tons we haven't heard! It's amazing! Just want you to know that even if you don't win, you are my choice!!!!
