I am a 38 year old man of Jamaican heritage and the first American born in my family. As a result of my unique origins, I was exposed to a variety of music, and although I do enjoy several rock and mainstream artists, I tend to favor music that is more closely related to my own culture. I had learned early on that, if honed properly, a person gifted with the talent of singing could connect with people on an emotional level that I feel is unreachable otherwise. This has all been said to preface the following statement.

Chris - you possess the ability to communicate emotional truth in a very powerful way with your singing. It is present in your eyes, your stage presence, and most notably in your voice. You seem to use your music to transport you to another place, effortlessly bring your fans along for the ride.
