Still Amazed
Well it took forever, but youtube finally accepted my vid of Blaze of Glory (stupid site kept timing out - ugh!)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=epQ3JCignQo
I had to hold up the camera over a sign, so the vid is sometimes shaky, but IMO the audio is good.
I still haven't gotten any pics up. Lisa G...I was looking for you at the show on Sunday. We were able to move up to the 4th row for the beginning of Daughtry's set...then gradually got relocated back to our still not bad 17th row seats
I agree
Lisa G, the only thing I can compare tonight to was the show in Newark in Nov...and this one was definitely better! I hope tomorrow is just as good...I'm doubling up.
I freaked when they sang ONE, even though I heard they did it in DC...and about died during Blaze of Glory. And, omg...You Don't Belong sounds great!
I need sleep so I can go to work and do it all again.
tix available
the box office keeps releasing tickets...some on the lower level...I'm still hoping for the unsold BJ VIP rows to be released!

ticket
Comcast has been gradually freeing up tickets. I just picked up 13th row behind the stage. My friends aren't happy that I couldn't get them one - only a single available?! Guess I'm in for some "butt shots" all night!
Mistake...corrected!
Thanks for the vid teaser...can't wait for the full broadcast on the 31st.
Concert times
I wasn't at the show, but just wanted to weigh in on the comments about concert times and opening bands. Though I honestly haven't counted, I know I"ve been to hundreds of concerts over the years (seriously!) I don't expect a show to end before 11 - EVER. And that doesn't matter what the start time is on the ticket. Depending on how long the main act has been around (meaning - how much material they have to play), the start time is anywhere from 8:30 to 10. Often a local band will be a last minute addition at a venue...everyone has to start somewhere.
My music taste varies wildly...and some artists who don't have an opening band use a lot of "filler" to make it to the 11pm end time (i.e Jimmy Buffett - hides from the laughter!) Bruce Springsteen and the Dave Matthews Band are 2 notable exceptions - they tend to actually PLAY for 2+hours. Bon Jovi did too when I saw them in NJ.
I've seen some great opening bands over the years...and I've seen some I really don't care for. I realize it's harder at a GA show to leave the area while waiting for the main act, but you might actually like something you hear. I'm not a fan of The Midway State - and I tried by listening to them on myspace before the NYC shows. I was worried about how I'd take it since NYC was a GA show. I felt bad for the guys because they were trying to get the crowd into it - thank God for "Killer" LMAO. But booing is not classy.
Just my 2cents
Earlier WPLJ podcast
I don't know if this was posted before, but Race Taylor from WPLJ also interviewed Chris before the Bon Jovi show in Nov.
Here's a link to the podcast (I hope) ...

Race will also be the interviewer for tonight's broadcast.
Finally...
watched it tonight! Loved the line..."it's what you do with what you're given." Wish all the guys could have been there. Yeah, didn't think much of the host - but at least she was rockin' the Devils' jersey earlier.
