And I can hardly wait! What a great weekend that all of us have in store! This show that we get to see is going to be incredible! Plus, it is helping out a wonderful cause! Kudos to all involved for putting this together!!!

Just a reminder to all......... have you ID with you. Not only will that be your ticket to get in (no real tickets to be picked up...just a list at the door, from what I was told from the guy who put together the auction) but in my experience......every bar in Vegas cards everyone!!!

Safe travels to all and I hope everyone has the time of their life!!!!

Tomorrow we leave.......then 2 more days to wait for the first concert.......then one more day until the Sunday's performance! What a trip this will be!

Well, that is a lie........I have lots to say! ha! ha!
I was at the gym as the auction was closing and my incredible husband kept an eye on the bids to make sure that we could go. I ran out of the gym and called him to see if we won and he said of course!!! I am so excited to see this show! Only 200 people.....how great is that going to be! I went to a show in Portland and Seattle that had about 500 people and it was incredible to be so up close and personal and now this show only has 200 people?!? We are all in for a real treat!!! : )
Thanks to all of you about the info on attire and photo policies! Bummer that we don't get to take pics of our own, but very cool that they will be filming it!!
I have to say that the concert with Bon Jovi will be great, but I am so much more excited for this show!!!!! Daughtry up close and personal and in VEGAS!!! What could possibly be better than that????? Plus, I should mention that I will be with my hubby celebrating our 11th wedding anniversary and he too is excited for the show!!!!
Looking forward to meeting some fellow Daughtry diehards........see you all there!

So glad that you guys are going to be back on her show. I watch her show everyday because she puts a smile on my face each and every day!!!!! Plus, she gives you couch time and that is great!!!! She seems to really enjoy you all and seems very happy about all of your success!
I hope you have a great time there and I look forward to watching it!
Do you all get to spend time with her other than what we see on t.v.? She seems like she would be fun to hang out with too!

I can hardly wait!!! Vegas itself is more fun than one deserves, but to get to see Daughtry while there is going to be incredible!!!!! I am going to enjoy every second of this trip/concert because I don't know when I will get to see you guys again. So far it doesn't look like you are coming back to the NW, but I will keep my fingers crossed that some more dates will be added to lets say.......Portland, Oregon area or Seattle, Wa. area?!?!?! We miss you guys up/over here!!! That is a fact!!!!!!!

Now to top off this Vegas extravaganza...............you went and added a VIP giveaway!!!! I have a smile on my face from ear to ear! : ) Just the added chance of the VIP.....gives me happiness!

Thanks for always keeping us fans in mind and giving us the chance to have some incredible memories to take with us forever!!!!

For those that are in the Portland area......Channel 10 is the lucky number for us!!!
I can't wait to see and hear them!!! Only 5 more days!!! Hopefully this will sustain me until I go see them in Vegas (which is still over 2 months away)!!

Ohhhhhh Happy Days!!!!

I am so excited that I can hardly stand it!!!! I get to go to this show! What is better than a trip to Vegas???? A trip to Vegas to celebrate your 11th Anniversary and get to see Daughtry in concert! It will be a weekend to remember!! The only thing that could make this any better is to see the guys and get some much wanted hugs from them!!! Oh yeah, and maybe a picture or two to freeze the moment in time for me! Now that would be heaven on earth!!

I almost missed your B-day!!!!

I hope you had a wonderful day celebrating your Birthday with your family! I am sure that they are just thrilled to have you home for the holidays!!! I hope you are enjoying yourself and getting some much needed rest and down time with your wife and kids!
May you have a year filled with LOVE, LAUGHTER, & (good) HEALTH!!!!!
Happy Happy Birthday to you!!!!! May this next year treat you as well or better than the last one!!!

I hope that you head back over here to the Portland Oregon area soon!!! I miss hearing you live and seeing you in person! It has only been about 4 months, but it seems like forever! : )

Why I'm a Fan

Why I am a fan

I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
how could you not be if you have ever heard Chris sing or hear the band perform? Once you experience that soul touching voice, those emotional lyrics, and the tight musicians that back Chris..............how could you not fall into love with it/them? Fan??? That does not even come close to how I feel about Daughtry. I have to be honest up front here......I love the guys in the band. They are what help make Daughtry. But the reason I became a "fan" is because I fell in love with Chris' voice and his story when I first saw him audition on AI. When they (AI) did the back story on Chris and then he went into the audition room, well I was already pulling for him and I have to say that I was pleasantly suprised on what an incredible voice he had. When he took of his staw cowboy hat and sang, I was blown away (plus his beautiful face didn't hurt)! : ) Then Simon said something about hearing that voice in any local bar and that his voice didn't have any emotion behind it, I about jumped into the T.V. to strangle him. I did not get that from the audition at all. I think that Chris has always/and continues to sing with so much passion and emotion that it touches your heart!!! Then when Simon said "No" to Hollywood I about pooped! Thank goodness for Paula and Randy. Every week I could not wait to see what Chris would sing. I really can't pick a favorite song because he did such a great job on all of them. There is something special about Chris and I think it was obvious to everyone!!!
When Chris was knocked out of the competition, I was sad that I would not be able to hear and see him perform each week.......but I was happy for him! If he would have won that competition, he would not have the incredible band that he has now! It was certainly for the best!! But the wait for the CD seemed to take forever! I could not wait to be able to have and entire CD with Chris' voice singing each and every song!!! Once I got the CD, it was well worth the wait!!! I have a copy of the CD in my bathroom, in my car, in my husband's car, and in the home CD player. I tell everyone that I know that they need to go and buy it, and if they are reluctant (for some unknow reason), I buy them a copy!
Then the day came that I turned from a normal fan to a crazed fan!! Ha! Ha! The night that I went to see them downtown Portland at Berbatis Pan! That night was incredible! You know that there are moments in your life that you feel like you are kind of in a rut. Same thing day after day. Nothing terrible going on, but nothing to put a extra little bounce in your walk. Well, this evening put the bounce back in my step! Seeing Chris (and the band) up close and personal in that venue was incredible!!! His voice touches you. It is like he is performing just for you and sharing something of himself with you! I know......it is weird, but true! That experience with him just blew me away!!! I came home and could NOT stop talking about the concert and Chris. I think that everyone thought I had gone nuts! I just think there are things that come into your life that give you a new outlook/lift, and being there at that concert did it for me!!! Now I am obsessed! Well, obsessed has some negative connotations that go with it............so my sister and I call it......Emotionally Attached. Doesn't that sound better?
I honestly can not get enough of that darn CD. I truely wonder if one can be worn out? Ha! Ha! When ever I need a pick me up for the day, I just put it in and it puts a smile on my face! My 3 1/2 year old rocks out with me too! In fact if I am talking while the CD is playing or a songs comes on the radio...he tells me to quit talking and sing!
Now I look forward to the Seattle show on the 25th of August, the Oregon State Fair on the 1st of September, and then the Puyallup Fair on the 10th of September. I can hardly wait! I am hoping for the opportunity to get a picture with Chris this time. Last Feb. I was in the wrong place at the absolute wrong time and I missed him walking past me. We moved from where we were standing because we were told that he was already on the bus, and by the time we got half way down the block....I turned around and saw Chris being escorted to his bus by some bodyguards. If only I had waited an extra 2 minutes. My incredible night would have turned into a "out of this word" night!! I did get some great pics of him performing that night, but not one with me in it too! And if I could say Hi, get a signature on one of my photos that I took of him, and a hug.....my life would be complete! That is not asking for much, now is it? : )
Another crazy little tid bit about Daughtry...........I was never a real Rock fan. Yes, I grew up in the 80's and almost everyone liked the rock hairbands. It just wasn't my favorite. But the moment that Chris opened his mouth to sing, I knew I would follow him anywhere to any genre of music. How could you not???
Well, that about sums it up. As you can see I am a talker......and I could talk for hours about Chris and Daughtry!
I AM EMOTIONALLY ATTACHED TO CHRIS NOT ONLY FOR HIS BEAUTIFUL, EMOTIONAL, HEARTFELT VOICE, BUT ALSO BECAUSE HE IS BEAUTIFUL ON THE OUTSIDE AS WELL AS THE INSIDE!!! AND YOU SHOULD BE A FAN TOO!!!! : )
