Chris Daughtry writes and performs GREAT ROCK SONGS! That is the main reason I am a fan. Of course great personality and looks don't hurt either

I have been a fan since the first time I saw him on TV. I was so disappointed when he didn't win "that little show" but was so excited when I learned he was forming his own band. It's great that a regular guy (regular, but with AMAZING talent) from NC (my home state) can follow his dreams and create an AWESOME band that will be making great rock music for years to come. I honestly have never been as big a fan of any other band or artist in my life as I am of Daughtry.

Here are a few of my "firsts" because of my love for Daughtry:
(1) I actually voted for a contestant on American Idol.
(2) I made a point of going to the store to buy an album the day it was released. After one year, it still hasn't left my CD player in my car
(3) I have bought concert tickets the minute they go on sale in an effort to get good seats - row 12 in Columbia, SC and row 14 in Greenville, SC (I'm still hoping for at least top 5 one day!)
(4) I became a registered member of the band's website.
(5) I log on to the website often to check for updates (even though I have very slow dial-up connection since I live so far out in the sticks )
(6) I voted for the AMAs and watched the entire show to make sure Daughtry won all 3 awards and to see their performance.
(7) I really want to meet the band one day so I can tell them how great they are (even though I'm sure they already know !), so I check for VIP contests often.

I honestly have NEVER done any of these things for any other band in my life, so its kind of a big deal to me. I'm a TRUE FAN (not crazy or obsessed, just loyal) and will be for life! I will buy every album Daughtry ever releases (the day they go on sale) and attend any concerts I can (one day I'll be front row!). I know there are many great things still to come for Chris and the gang!
