Hey boys and girls,

My name is Thomas Flora. I was born and raised in Anderson, IN. I moved here to Raleigh, NC. by myself last January. So, I’ve been here for a year now. I love this area it’s so awesome and there is way much more to do here. Oh, and not as flat either.

I discovered that I looked like Chris when random people kept telling me that I look like him. I wasn’t really sure what to think. I’ve never been compared to anyone before…well a couple of times to Vin Diesel. It wasn’t until one day that I was at my buddies and his fiancé was watching American Idol. That was when she kept saying “Hey Thomas, this is that guy that everyone thinks you look like.” I took one look and was like “WOW!, that crazy.”

So, from then on I was not just a fan from the fact that we kind of look alike. I was taken in by how great this dude could sing. I’ve seen the show a couple of times in the past like when Rubin was on and Kelly of course. Never have I seen an act on the show that I really liked. I used to watch the show only to laugh at the rejects during the auditions. I voted for Chris every time. He was the only reason I watched it. I totally stopped after he got voted off.

Since I live about an hour from where Chris lives I always get noticed. I thought about changing my look but I thought to myself, why change myself just because I look like a celebrity. I’ve been shaving my head since middle school and there’s no way I’m going to change my style. I love how I look! I can’t help that Chris has good taste too. It’s also not hurting that all of the chicks dig him, so in turn they dig me….RIGHT?

Anyways I’m totally rambling on. I want to say one more thing before I go though. When I found out that he was going to have a homecoming party, I wanted to go see him and maybe get a picture with him. (For the record, I was only doing it because my mom wanted me to. She’s a big fan. She wanted a picture of me with him.) Needless to say I didn’t get one, but I did however get to ask him when he walked right by me. The look on his face when he saw me was priceless. He took like a “surprised double take look”. He was on such a tight schedule that he didn’t have time. He seemed sincere about it, so I wasn’t too upset. I still had fun though. He seems like a cool dude and I’m just honored that I have some resemblances of a guy like that.

PS. If you read this Chris. I just want to say hi, and let you know that I’m diggin’ the new album. I still love AE too. Keep up the good work man!
