I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I have followed Chris since AI5. From the first audition through elimination. It was the first time that I voted like crazy and truly cared about what happened to one of the contestants. I voted like crazy and joined a forum to follow his career because I believe in his talent and the success I know he will attain. He is my favorite american idol and now Daughtry is my favorite band. I couldn't have hoped for Chris to be in a better band. The debut album has far exceeded my expectations. There is the potential for so many hits. As a band you seem to be a perfect fit and you each contribute something special to the band. You are each amazing individuals with talent and endearing qualities.
I love music and must say it's hard to be inspired anymore. The first band I remember being inspired by was U2 when I was a kid. I am still passionate about that band and have liked many other bands since then but it wasn't until Daughtry that I felt that passion for music and inspiration once again. It's hard to explain, but there is just something special about Daughtry that endears me as a fan. I know that I will be a lifelong fan and will always be supporting the band in any way that I can. It's almost like they are friends because that is the way they make fans feel.
I've already turned several people onto Daughtry. I'm so proud to be a fan of Daughtry and I completely believe in the success of this band. It's awesome being a fan. I'll be supporting you throughout your long career! You are only just beginning and I know that someday in the near future it's going to be even harder to meet you guys----so I would love to have the opportunity to meet you now.
I've met some great people through our common interest in Daughtry. I keep having to buy new copies of the CD because I play it so often.
