This makes me so very happy and excited!! I love this site and I love all the many friends I have met. It is so wonderful to be able to share the joy and love of Daughtry with all these other die-hard and devoted fans. We not only discuss the greatest band in the world, we also talk about our interests. And I am a pledge mamma so I pledge the band regularly and have found a second family with them. We're there for each other to give support and comfort when things are rough and we're there to share in the joy when things are going well. It's a wonderful feeling and I love these girls more than anything, they're part of my Daughtry family and them and the band of course are truly inspiring and amazing and wonderful people. This place is like home and I would not trade it for anything in the world!!

Can you believe that one year ago today Daughtry's first album was realeased into the U.S. I have loved the album ever since and have not once gotten sick of any of the songs that Chris sang. Those songs still bring a smile to my face every time I listen to them and I feel joy in my heart in an instant. And although the band Daughtry is not playing the music on this album I've been fortunate to see them perform live and those boyz picked up the music beauitufully and are extremely talented all around guys. I've learned to love them more and more each coming day and have become a die-hard and dedicated fan. There are not many people out there that understand my passion for Daughtry, or as they'd call it obsession, except for the wonderful fans on this site. If only I could find a friend or two who could learn to love Daughtry like me and want to go to all the concerts and do road trips to see them. That would be awesome so hopefully one day I will meet those people to do just that with.

I am have to give a short good-bye to Daughtryofficial.com b/c I am going on vacation and probably won't be able to get on the internet and if so it will be brief. My sister is getting married and I have a lot of last minute things to help her with. It's going to be hard not being able to check in and chat with all of you and get the latest Daughtry scoop but I am very excited about the upcoming plans that start at the crack of dawn tomorrow morning. Though I will admit I will be going through some Daughtry withdrawl so their music will have to help pave the way during my vacation time, which is about a week and a half. I hope Daughtry continues to be a huge success on the countdowns and will bring joy to all their fans, yet they do it so easily. Upon return, I will immediately check in here and find out the Daughtry scoop and give my two cents worth. I will miss you guys but it's only a short good-bye so take care, have fun, and rock and roll to the best of your ability.

I am really excited right now b/c Daughtry finally came up with some final nominations for the Badge contest and the voting has begun. Imagine my surprise when the first one I see is one of those I came up with. I doubt I will win b/c nobody has really voted for me yet but I am excited and so happy that Daughtry themselves liked my idea well enough to chose me for the final process. I am just giddy and overjoyed and I feel special. There is some tough competition and some really great ideas so it'll be interesting to see whose badge names win in each category. I voted and it took some time to pick out what names I liked best. I'd just like to say Congratulations to the others who were selected and good luck to everyone on winning the badge contest. It'll be fun times and interesting to say the least. There seems to already be some "favorites" so far but it's still early on and anything can change. I feel honored Daughtry selected one of my names though, I really am.
It's exciting to see Daughtry nominated for 3 awards for the AMAS. I am of course excited for that too and really hope they claim all 3 awards b/c they deserve it and they've come a long way and are still continuing to be a success with great songs, album sales, and of course all the promotion of them for the different sports and events. I voted for them in each category and just hope all their fans, friends, and family can make it possible for them to go home Big Winners!! Woo-hoo. Go DAUGHTRY!!
Oh and yeah I am no longer just a fan I am now a Big Fan so yeah. Of course that name will change when the new Badge names are picked but at least I moved up another category. There is even more room to celebrate now!!
