I'm a fan of Chris and his entire band for different reasons than most I suppose. I will be honest I don't watch American Idol, but I did know who Chris was. And as far as I'm concerned I'm glad he lost! He has WAY to much talent to be bound to American Idol!! When his cd came out in stores my fiance' Dann went out and bought 4 of them...YES you read that right 4! He gave 3 of them away to friends and family and obviously kept one for us. He played track 4 over and over and over!!!! I thought that was the only song on there!! LOL!!!
But to get to the real reason I'm a fan of The ENTIRE band!! I just met Chris July 6th, 2007! I had that opportunity because my fiances band, Small Town Sleeper opened for them at summerfest in Milwaukee, WI!!! Chris came up to my sister best friend and STS's bass players wife and I after his show...signed some stuff...which was cool...But the best part was he actually had a conversation! He didn't just sign things and blow us off! I'm really glad to see that he hasn't gotten to "big" for us "little people!" Well anyway we were all excited to tell everyone that we had just met him so went back up to Small Town dressing room to tell "our story!" When I opened the door Chris was standing there talking to everyone!! Thanks To Daughtry, his managment, and everyone else who had a hand in getting Small Town Sleeper to Milwaukee with you!! It was AWESOME and Can't wait till August when we will be doing it AGAIN!!!!

Small Town Sleeper has been put on Daughtry's bill for 8 more shows!!! Thanks again to everyone in the Daughtry crew!!! You guys don't relize how much we ( wives, family, and friends) all appreciate this oppurtunity you are giving to our guys to play on the same stage with such AMAZING talent!!!
