I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I live in Greensboro and remember watching Chris when I could catch American Idol with my busy practice and literally getting chills when I heard him sing. When I heard his version of Johnny Cash's "Walk the Line" I was in another room and had to stop immediately. I knew he was going to be huge and was one of the few people who was actually excited when he was voted off of Idol. I knew he had a better chance if he could get focused and not have the "Idol" distractions. All he needed was a big stage and the exposure.
I also love that he is horrible at self-promotion. It makes him remain human and you want to put him up on your shoulders and carry him through.
If his family can hang in there and grow with the changes - you'll be set for life.
Just make sure you get an honest financial planner.
