clarification

I just wanted to clarify a couple of quick things...

I wouldn't have traded the experience for anything. As I said before, the seats were great... just not close enough for pictures. The guys sounded fantastic live (as they always do). Getting to hear the new song was definitely awesome.

I don't want to seem like I was complaining about the meet and greet... I never said it was bad... it was just awkward. I guess had it been announced as an autograph signing, I wouldn't have gone into it with the hopes of getting a photo taken. It really wasn't a meet and greet. It was an autograph session. There were 11 of us and we were in and out (i'm probably not exxagerating with this) in less than 3 minutes. I know Chris didn't feel good he said on stage he was sick. I couldn't possibly be more happy that I have my custom photo that I made autographed by the man himself.

I guess my disappointment lies in what everyone thinks a meet and greet is and then what actually transpired last night. I can't imagine how the girl in line with us felt to have come all the way from North Carolina (30 minutes from Chris' hometown if I remember correctly) and she really wanted a photo with him and was simply told "no".

All in all, it was a stellar performance. The guys looked and sounded amazing. I can't wait until they come back!

took a little longer to get to the venue than normal. i don't live that far away, but traffic was just horrid tonight. got there about 7:10 and the tickets/meet & greet passes were at will call like i was told. got down to our seats (section 120 row ddd) about 3 rows up from the floor. the seats were good, but too far from the stage to get any good pictures. the new song is great by the way... it opened the show. i think the set was 8 songs... i'm not great with details especially since i was pretty stoked about the meet and greet. i saw the guys back in july with nickelback and staind... i can't decide which show i enjoyed more (aside from the fact i was 2nd row last time). they sounded amazing live like i knew they would. there are very few bands who sound just as good live as they do in recordings... Daughtry is definitely one of the few. We took off just after "breakdown" to head back up the what seemed like million stairs to get back up to the concourse to make our way to the main box office since the instructions said to be there right after the last song of the set.

Well...

Here's to hoping that I get an e-mail soon with information. Especially after reading that last night's VIP winner didn't have a ticket when she got there.

I'll make sure to pass along everyone's well wishes to the guys, if I get to see them.

Thanks

To everyone for the congratulatory wishes. I definitely can't wait for the show. I'm still waiting for my e-mail full of details, so hopefully I'll know more later this afternoon! Tomorrow can't get here soon enough Smiling

OMG

I couldn't believe my eyes when I logged in after work tonight and saw that I had a PM. I never thought in a million years that I would win. I can't wait for the show!!!! I stood in line for 8 hours back in July to get a decent spot on the floor to see them with Nickelback and Staind. I don't care where the seats are, I'm just glad I'll get to be there!
