O.K. so I watched American Idol before Chris Daughtry was on (I like raw talent when it's genuine) but when Chris was on it stirred something entirely new in me. I have never been this way with any musician, band or musical talent in my life. But hearing his story about how he took on his wife's children and made them his own and just the care he expressed for her and everyone around him. Who could not love a person like that. No to mention his love for Jesus Christ. Only god could bless someone with a voice like that. It changes you, it makes the music become a part of you even though you had no part in it except for loving it.

I have had the CD in my car since the day it was released and I just can't bring myself to change it. Nothing else gives me what listening to his music gives me to help me through my day, help me feel stronger than I am on bad days.
I am a Daughtry advocate through and through. Even my co-workers who have been bombarded with Daughtry for the last year have learned to love it in the way I do. I talk about the lyrics. I make them understand whay the music is just so that worth it and even though it may get played on the radio here 200 times a day they always say...There's Marnie's song with anything Daughtry. I met these guys at the Boardwalk in Sacramento and they were so kind, grounded and repectful. Chris Daughtry is the kind of gentleman who would not look the wrong way at another woman and that makes me have more repect for him than I thought possible. True, true gentlmen they are.
I am looking forward to decades more of music from these guys because I will be there, standing in line to get the new CD, standing in line to buy the next tickets.....whatever they offer us I'm on board. Daughtry has truly opened the door for a new genre of music that people have needed to be exposed to for a long time. Please keep it coming. Much love and continued support......Marnie
