I am a huge fan of Daughtry and you should be too. Daughtry has opened doors for young aspiring musicians around the country.

The anticipation was building for the debut CD from Chris’s new band, Daughtry. I woke up early on November 21, 2006 bought the CD. The first time I listened to this CD I was amazed. There were awesome rock anthems like “There and Back Again” and “What I Want.” Songs like “It’s Not Over” and “Over You” were very awesome, radio friendly hits.

One song that I can really relate to is the song “Home.” Being away for my first year of college has been extremely difficult. The song “Home” perfectly describes all my emotions, missing my friend, family, and the people I have grown up with for 18 years.

After debuting at number 2 of the Billboard 200, CD sales took off. Tour announcements were made and I was ecstatic to be able to see Chris and the whole band on tour! Their show tickets were selling like crazy and venues were selling out in record times!

Daughtry is amazing to their fans. I will always be a Daughtry fan. Even after becoming huge stars, these guys are still cool and down to earth. I am truly proud to be a fan. The video updates and the blogs Daughtry posts on DaughtryOfficial.com make their fans feel important. It is awesome that they take time out of their busy schedules to keep us updated online. In addition they reserved VIP tickets for fans online that were not able to get tickets to the tour the first time they went on sale. Daughtry has gone out of their way to meet with fans on the road.

The DAUGHTRY CD has been certified double platinum, an amazing accomplishment for any band or artist. The Daughtry CD has become the fastest selling rock debut CD of all time. In addition, Daughtry is the first band since Bon Jovi's CD release in 1988 to hit the top spot after debuting below #1. This proves that these guys have what it takes to make it in the music industry.

I am a fan of Daughtry because their music is amazing. All of these guys are down to earth and easy to relate to. Most importantly they care for their fans. I cannot wait to see Daughtry on the road. This may be their first tour, but it will definitely not be their last. Everyone should be on the lookout for these guys for many years to come.
