I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Chris is a man of honor.
I admire his commitment to his family and now to his band. They all seem to be very genuine family men who have a love of life and music. Chris has a voice that stopped me in my tracks from the very first. You can not help but to say wow! The man as a person, I admit to have no true first hand knowledge of, but his eyes and demeanor show to me, a man of values.
I had the good fortune to see Daughtry at the viper room and found the entire band to be friendly with fans and together with one another.
I admit to having difficulty articulating why this man and now this band has drawn me in to this degree. I have never felt or experienced anything like this before. It may have started in part due to that fact that as a nation we watched Chris grow before our very eyes - thus giving us the almost parental pride that many of us feel. Along the way of his journey he gave to me a new group of friends, people that yes we have Daughtry in common with but so very much more, we have become family to one another.
I have found a new improved me, which until this past year had been hiding behind my duties as a mom and the obligations of day to day life. All of that has since been expanded with a new and improved me, one who is interested in more than just being a mom, but becoming ME again.
I have a lot to thank this man for - he has given me a new lease on life, one I suspect will only flourish more and more with time. Those of you that have been on this journey with me, I would like to say here a heartfelt thank you.
Those of you who question why to be a fan, you can take your pick. There is no denying this man's vocal gift, but many have that, what sets him apart is his "something extra" that "it" factor that swells us with pride with each and every success and new heights he seems to reaching in bounds. We love this man for all he gives to us, not just his music, but the proof that deserving good people do get the prize - the rewards.
I can believe in my heart that this man and his band will without a doubt become better and better and more and more famous, but to us, his true fans, that will come as no surprise and we will gladly be along for the ride.
Sorry Simon to steal your line, but it is so true - Thank God for Chris!

I'd like to add my name to the pm list to buy one should someone win the VIP or radio or whatever and has one to sell.
Thanks,
