I won't lie, I paid the $150.00 not for Bon Jovi, but for Daughtry. It was great seeing the guys at the Pepsi Center. Awesome set! Loved that Chis sang a bit of "Walk the Line" in the middle of "What About Now" - I cried through most of the song thinking of my hubby in Iraq.
Joey's sticks were literally flying! The mask, the kilt... I love me some Joey!
JP's ever present bouncing on stage made me smile.
Steely seemed a bit laid back but got the crowd into a few songs. You could tell the majority of the crowd was there for the headliners - but the boys sure put on a great show!
We really missed seeing Brian. Where was he?
The entire set was amazing. We screamed, danced, and banged our heads. I have to say that "What About Now" was my favorite song. But of course all of them were great. We sang along as loudly as we could and tried to show the boys some love from the stands.
All and all a great show. We stayed for Jovi for a bit, in hopes that Chris would come out for Blaze of Glory. No luck for Denver though. Personally, I love the old Bon Jovi stuff but I was not so into their performance. Jon Bon Jovi reminded me a bit of Mick Jagger and funny enough did a bit of one the the Stones songs.
Great night. Daughtry was amazing. Just left me wanting more... so now I just have to figure out when and where I can see them again....
Alright, CODO's
How many times a day will we be checking to see what the VIP will be??? Good luck to everyone! Hope whoever gets it really appreciates it.
Now please excuse me while I do my happy dance... 1 week to go!!!
The show was great
I am sad to hear that fans are upset that they didn't get to meet the band. From what I understand, Chris left almost immediately after the show to head straight to the airport.
I agree, we'd all like the chance to meet them - most everyone is gaga over Chris. We were lucky enough to win the meet and greet and even that was very fast. No pics were allowed. The tour manager controlled the entire thing - I hold nothing against the band. Even the lady who shaved her head to win M&G passes didn't get a picture with the guys. The band wasn't the one calling the shots though. Joey was an absolute doll and came out for a pic with my daughter. Josh Steely was a total sweetheart as well.
We were front row but once the crowd moved up, it was a bit difficult with my daughter who is in a wheelchair. They didn't allow her wheelchair up front so I ended up holding her balanced on my knee with my leg on a chair. Thank God the people around me understood and didn't push forward. Daughtry fans rock!!! Zoe got Josh's pick and Joey's drumstick. She also got Brian's pick by chance when we ran into him. The guys are incredibly sweet and I'm sure if they could meet every single fan, they would.
I think it was just amazing to hear my favorite songs live. I loved it.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
I hope you both had a wonderful day!!!
keep rockin'!!!

VIP Entry
Bringing the kid and a straight jacket so I'll behave if you pick me!!!
Okay, I love every song on the album. I have definite favorites. But today while listening to "Crashed" for the millionth time, I realized why I love it so much.

I guess I was blind
Because I swear that wasn't Craddock. The beanie must have thrown me off. I didn't hear Chris introduce him as Brian either - maybe I was screaming too loud. My bad...
