I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
Chris Daughtry is the epitome of what real rock-n-roll vocals should sound like! His voice is absolutely AMAZING!
I was literally blown away the first time I heard him sing. I'm a true-blue rock-n-roll girl and was stunned to finally hear MY kind of music on American Idol. Bon Jovi, Fuel, Shinedown??? Too good to be true! Thank you, thank you, thank you American Idol for putting Chris and his out-of-this-world voice in front of the masses! And thank you again AI, for sending Chris on his way. Lucky for us fans, Chris was not "their" winner, but I believe he and Daughtry made out best! We fans should be thankful. Chris and the members of Daughtry are sure to rock us loooooooong after Taylor has hung up his harmonica!
Here's to one helluva tour, fellas!!!
**Please, no disrespect meant to any of the "Idols". Every one of them was talented in their own way. Me? I'm partial to the rock sound. Point blank, I firmly believe that Daughtry's career will far outshine and outlast any of the other participants from Idol. Chris is definitely a "different breed" and I LOVE it! The Daughtry CD hasn't been out of my CD player since it's release date!**
And a HUGE congratulations on hitting the top spot after debuting below #1 in the Top 10! The last group of guys to do that 20 years ago are a tough act to follow! I consider Bon Jovi one of the best rock bands in the world and I'm so happy that Daughtry is following right in their footsteps! Definitely a well-deserved accomplishment! Congrats!!!
As for those VIP tickets you're giving away ...
... I would be honored to be picked for VIP tickets. What better way to spend a hot and humid Florida evening than with one cool, kick-butt rock-n-roll band!!! And Chris ... I heard that you like a little game called "Scattegories"??? Ahhhh, but you haven't met the queen of "Scattegories" ... YET! What do ya say??? You up for a couple of rounds?? LOL! (Obviously just kidding!)
Plus, I'm sure my husband would so appreciate seeing and hearing the Daughtry tunes performed the way they should be. I think he's getting a little tired of my renditions!!!
Thanks again for the potential opportunity ...

Re: Camera question ...
Hey there! Yep ... I am totally bringing a camera. I wasn't aware that the REH website says that cameras are not allowed. I've been to many concerts there and have always taken a camera in. Plus, this time around I need to get some better pics. My State Theatre and Rockfest pics are just "okay". Hoping to get some awesome shots on Monday!
I'd say go ahead and bring your camera. Unless it looks like one of those huge, really professional cameras, you should be fine with a smaller one!
Less than a week now!!! YAY!
