Daughtryfan the people around me were hooting and hollering along with us for Daughtry, maybe we were all up in the top rows because don't forget Daughtry wasn't on the playbill when the concert first went on sale for the 10th and 12th date. So I'm counting on more Daughtry fans being in the front rows on the 13th date.
Also the question on the standing for the songs. Even for Bon Jovi there was only a few songs that fans stood for. If you stood you blocked the person behind you but I saw a lot of fans rocking it out in the front rows for Daughtry even though they were sitting.

Monday Night in Toronto to See Daughtry and Bon Jovi March 10
We went early hoping we might find a glimpse of the guys but no luck. We found the stage door and buses but not the actual buses they tour in. We wandered to surrounding hotels and coffee shops and stopped in Starbucks where I had a hot chocolate with whipped cream and Nicole had a Cappachino. We went across the road and grabbed a sandwich at a deli then went to a hotel that was close to the concert and relaxed on the couches.
Then we headed to the concert. The crowd of people going was amazing, never had I been to a Daughtry concert with this many people milling about. We met up with two of Nicole's friends and went into the concert.
Our seats weren't the best being up high and a bit behind the stage but from looking out over the stadium, it was so huge that I saw our seats really weren't that bad. On the floor if people stood up you wouldn't be able to see past them.
Daughtry came on stage and did their new song. I took a lot of shots at the teletron because it was closer to me. Pictures are a bit grainy but you can see ok on them. I phoned Helen on the first song so she could hear it. I heard after the sound was really good over the phone from Nicoles friends.
I was a little frustrated because the cameraman kept zeroing in on the guitar on Josh and never seemed to have the camera on JP so I had a hard time getting shots of them.

Weather is supposed to be good on Sunday and Monday.

You will have a great time and the guys are so nice!!!

Just wanted to wish good luck to who can win VIP, too many for me to win and I haven't got tickets because I lost my job right before the tickets went on sale for the third show in which we knew Daughtry was going to play. Couldn't justify the cost.
So whoever is going get great pics and write great reveiws. Just wish I could have seen them in my area but guess it's not meant to be. Oh well, I'll live, LOL.

If you wanted to make people bewildered and confused on your thinking and were you at the same concert, you certainly did.
I have been going to concerts for longer than you. Not because I'm necessarily older but because I have been into them all my life, very young up to now. I have no idea on this so I'm guessing. I've also seen long time proven bands and because of my experience, I can recognize when someone has it. Daughtry does.
The fact that you were disappointed at being kept waiting while warm up bands came on???? Ok that one has me confused.
There is always warm up bands at concert venues like theatres and such. The fact that you never even gave the warm up bands a chance, you judged juried and tried them just because they came on instead of Daughtry at 7:30 makes me wonder how many concerts have you really been too. Everyone knows warm up bands come on at these venues and are cutting their teeth and learning good experience so you give them encouragement by cheering them on. You'd be surprised how many warm up bands I have seen who were inexperienced at one time are now big time head liners. Short sightedness is never an attractive trait by a concert goer. A discerning ear is. Both bands showed mega potential for the future in different ways.
It truly sounded to me from your post that you didn't want to there in the first place.
And a canned performance, hmmm half of the songs sang by Daughtry were not on the CD. Again, were you at the same concert?
Either way, I feel sorry you come to a show to judge. We all came to enjoy and experience.

Chris, it is you and the guys we have to thank. Every show I have been to, you guys put in an extra effort and you change up all the time which makes each one a new experience. This must take a lot of work on your part and it is very much appreciated.
I'll tell you right now when you asked how many people were seeing you for the first time, over 2/3 of the audience put their hand up.
And they were cheering as loud as the rest of us long time fans. You guys did that. You guys deserve that.
And I'm sorry that the camera thing didn't work out this time as we had to give them up. Not your fault but we did it in respect to the laws there.
You probably couldn't see this either but there was a heck of a lot of camera phones held up when you asked for people to hold the cameras up. They don't flash like a camera does but if it had been cameras, it would have been spectacular.
And thank you for coming out in the rain to sign autographs. That was very special and it was Helen (Kalan) who drew that beautiful picture of you guys. I was so impressed with her drawing which she sent out as Christmas cards this year that I thought it was something special to get your signature on. I will treasure that card for many reasons. These memories, people met and adventures that have happened to many of us this last year we all have are because of you and a few other special people.
