I just read the new rules for the VIP contest! We aren't supposed to submit entries before a VIP is officially announced for the event!

I'm so jealous! If I hadn't lost my job, I would have been there! A woman that I recruited for a Communications Manager position knows the manager at PBS and offered to get me tickets. But, my job ended shortly after that and I couldn't afford to go.
Oh well.....I'm happy for the lucky ones that went. At least I can see it on TV.....if I can just pay my cable bill before then!

Congrats, guys! VERY WELL DESERVED! I think the T-Mobile Text-In thing was fixed, though. There is NO WAY that any of the Carrie Underwood fans voted as much as we did!!! I had my husband on the other computer, voting continuously while I did the same on my laptop. We did this for a couple of days and I had been voting at least a hundred times every day, before that! I know that all of the fans were voting hundreds of times! Oh well, they won the IMPORTANT awards and that's what counts! I'm just glad that the rest of the world is seeing what we see.

When I mentioned on Joey's myspace page that the VMAs should have been shown on BET, I was totally BASHED! I wasn't making a derogatory comment about a whole race, just the (C)RAP music that dominated the whole show!!! I'm glad to see that at least a few true music fans agree with me! I did get a lot of "private" messages, saying that they felt the same way. What is so wrong with expressing your feelings about the obviously biased awards show? If it were the other way around and (C)RAP music was being snubbed, you can bet that there would be accusations of discrimination! Oh well.....I don't want to get a whole big "THING" started. Just commenting.

I can't believe I "crashed" before they came on! I woke up in the middle of the song and did a quick rewind. I had my DVR set to record it but, it stopped recording after one hour. BUMMER! But, I still got to see it once! They all looked and sounded HOT!!! I would have MUCH rather seen them than those lame guests.....oh well. Still loved them, as always!

My birthday is December 27th! I know how it SUCKS to have your birthday be right after Christmas! All of your life, you get the old "This is for Christmas AND your birthday" routine. Now, I just do it right back at them.

WOW! I LOVE that program! I'm not even going to fool myself into thinking that I would ever win tickets but, at least I can see it in my Living Room! You can bet your sweet a$$es, I'll be using the ZOOM feature!!!
