I am a fan (and you should be too), because...daughtry is real. they aren't a "mickey mouse" band that was put together by some guy in a suit that wants to make money, and knows nothing about good rock music. The band would have made it with or without the publicity from American Idol. The best thing that ever happened to Chris was NOT winning that competetion. I love music....all kinds...from rock, pop, love songs...even country, i'll listen to anything, but there are very artists that I can put on a their CD and listen to every song and say to myself," That will be a # 1 hit." I was able to do that with this album. I relate to the lyrics....everything about it. Chris, has a unique voice that sounds sincere when needed during a mellow song,which any girl can admit, we love!! And can sound rough as also needed.
Basically, I'm a fan cause I know good music when I hear it. And not to mention....... the whole band is hot!
