Honestly, I will not lie I became of fan of Chris when he was on the show AI. I thought he had a soothing voice. I was shocked when he was voted off but not upset like some people...life goes on! For Christmas my wonderful husband gave me the new CD Daughtry as a present. Listened to the CD and actually enjoyed Chris's voice more with a band behind it. Every song has something different about it, and in every song there is something that I can personally relate to. Not to get to personal but I just lost my DAD to a horrible type of cancer that took him from me in 6 months, and honestly this CD would, I don't know how to explain it, but it would make me feel better. Sometimes it is a lyric, sometimes it s the voice and sometimes its the beat or the sound of the guitars.Wierd, I know, but it is the truth(thank you from the bottom of my heart by the way).

Anyway,moving on, I then got tickets to their concert in Charlotte NC to seem them live. This is were things got out of control for me. This BAND is absolutely AMAZING! I am no longer just a fan of Chris I am a fan of DAUGHTRY, which is not just Chris alone. Every single one of those guys is so freaking talented I can't describe it. Now I have to listen to the CD everday but imagine the real band playing the songs, and I am traveling to see them again LIVE!!!! Love the debut album but cannot wait for the next CD with JP, Josh, Joey, and Brian so I can really rock!!!!! That is why I am a fan of DAUGHTRY, in a nutshell!! HAHA!
