I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Daughtry rocks, plain and simple. Chris's music prior to becoming Daughtry and the music of Daughtry now puts a smile on my face every time I hear it. My daughters yell out wooooo whoooo in the car everytime Daughtry is on the radio and they are only 3 and 9 years old. They know a good thing when they hear it! I have had the honor of seeing them perform live twice and I have to say they put on a hell of a show both times. These guys are all about great music and appreciation of their fans. They are so down to earth and genuinely nice, what a refreshing thing to experience. My daughters and I went to the venue in Sacramento they were going to be playing at in hopes of getting a picture with Chris and his autograph (no I am not a stalker, haaaa). My 9 year old spotted him right away and was so excited to actually see him in person. We got a picture with Chris (see profile pic) which I proudly display in my home, on my myspace, on my family blog, etc...yes, I am quite proud of that pic (no, I am not crazy...haaa). Chris told my 9 year old that she looked like a little Angelina Jolie and she LOVED hearing that. She is now an even bigger Daughtry fan then she was before. She wants so much to be able to go to his concert now and is hoping she can come with me to the Sacramento show to see Daughtry perform live. This group has only just begun. Their music is wonderful, their hearts are in it completely and it's more then just playing music and doing what they love, it's also about their fans. I recently listened to an interview with the group and what a great bunch of guys. They are staying true to who they are and they appreciate where this journey has taken them. You couldn't ask for a more "real" band. I see them being very successful for a very long time. I will be a fan forever and you should be one too so you can experience the wonderful music and talent that is DAUGHTRY!
