I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
I am in my mid 40s... I watched Am Idol last season and was furious about what happened to Chris. Then, I started thinking... this is so much better for him, because he won't be stuck in the AI group of people who never really go farther than their first year. (Not including Kelly Clarkson.) But Chris has something so special... we (my husband and I) love the fact that Chris is a Christian and shouts it from the rooftop. We pray for his and Deanna's marriage all the time. We want them to be happy and successful.

Chris is not like any other performer I've seen. He is so down to earth, yet a complete professional on stage. Normally, when a new CD is out for a group, we end up downloading it. But when Chris' "Daughtry" CD came out, we went to the store and purchased it. Support the band! It's in my car all the time... then my husband got one for the bike (Harley Ultra-Classic Electraglide)... we can't get enough of it.

We were laughing the other night, though, because the label is making them sing that same song over and over on each appearance... including New Year's Eve. I wish the world could hear the rest of their stuff. We are looking forward to a tour. My husband is a Lieutenant Colonel in the Marine Corps and we are stationed in North Carolina right now. So being in Chris' home state is kind of cool. But we would drive just about anywhere to see the band in a concert.
