I am a fan (and you should be too), because...well, I have been watching "Idol" for about three years now. Never really cared who was going to win. Never a fan of anyone, never brought a CD that any of "Idols" released. No, not even Kelly Clarkson. But then, Chris Daughtry appeared. Sorry I have only voted a couple of times for you. But it was the first time that I ever "voted" in USA ever since I moved from Japan 8 years ago. Something in Chris or his voice caught me and I have just fell into it. He has something that no one has, believe me I know, after I have been listening to all kind of music, from Opera to Jazz. After he had to leave "Idol" like that, I was of course very dissapointed but then I was sure that he would be back somehow, even not as a "winner". Then after a few months, I heard this very familiar voice on a radio covering a Bon Jovi song. I knew in two seconds that is was his voice. Oh, I can not tell you how happy I was to be able to hear him again. But then again, I knew that he would be back with his own CD and that would be just a start.

Now I have a very long waited CD "Daughtry" in my hand and I have been listening and loving it almost every day. Thank you very much, Chris for not giving up, for creating such a great CD, and most of all, being "Daughtry", not a member of some other rock group. I promise I remain a fan of yours for a life time, as long as you do what you really want in music and believe in it.
