I am a fan (and you should be too) because every time I hear Chris sing I am mesmorized. He has such power in his voice and in his words. I have loved him from the first time i heard him on idol, but I had no idea that he would grow to be the musician he is now. I was so disappointed that he lost idol but I think that losing was his destiny. His album is so amazing and if he won he would have been forced to do something different. He needed to find his way an get together with Joey, Jeremy, J.P, and Josh and create this amazing sound that is Daughtry, and put out an album that inspires as well as rocks. To have your debut be in the top 10 is a great accomplishment.
I recently had back surgery and it helped to listen to the album, becasue the music is so beautiful yet so fun. It took my mind off of some of my pain, but I was unable to purchase any tickets to see him but maybe that is what was meant for me. All I know is that I can't be the only one that his music has reached to help heal in some way. He puts his heart and soul into his lyrics and you can't help but feel that when listening to him sing. It would be a dream come true to see him live.
Not only is he a great musician but he is a great family man, and I like what he stands for. Of course he is sexy but he is good guy who stands for family values, which sometimes seems to be missing with a lot of rockers. I think that we are lucky to have Daughty out there with a kick ass record and some stand up guys. Now these other rock bands are gonna have to see what it really means to rock and make great music at the same time. I know that I am a fan for life. Rock on!!!
