I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...There is something about Daughtry's music that just puts a smile on my face, it's been a long time since a band has really grabbed me like Daughtry has. I am a diehard metal fan, and I have to admit, I have never watched one episode of American Idol and didn't know Chris Daughtry from a bum on the street, but once I heard his music I was absolutely hooked. His song "Over You" is pretty much a soundtrack to my life right about now, and most all of his other songs somehow I can relate to in some odd way. Chris is an absolute professional performer and he and his band give it everything they have to make sure the fans get their money's worth. I have already worn out one Daughtry CD, and it's all I listen to on my Ipod, I can't wait for some new music. I NEED DAUGHTRY REHAB!!!!!!!!!!!!

WORTH THE WAIT!!!!
Like many other fans that have posted here, I too, was not aware of the 3 opening bands before Daughtry. Dirty University was awesome, esp. the U2 cover. My friend and I didn't even see the other 2 opening acts cause we were out in the "smoking area" talking with Mikey and the other guys from Dirty U!! They are very down to earth, and appreciative guys, and I hope they make it big!! We were more than ready for Daughtry to hit the stage, and we were NOT DISAPPOINTED!! I have attended hundreds of concerts over the years and I have to say with all honesty that they have moved to #1 for live acts that I've seen. There was so much energy that night, it was amazing. Chris and the rest of the band were absolutely giving it 110% that night. And to the people that were posting about "think about the people that have lives/jobs" all I have to say is it was their choice to attend a mid week concert, and they should have made arrangements before hand. Things don't always run on schedule, and you should always have a back up plan...I got home at 2am and worked the next day (I' m a nurse) and then went home and slept 12 hours!!! BUT I'D DO IT ALL AGAIN!!!! Looking forward to the Daughtry/Bon Jovi show in Tampa in April, and if anyone has any tips on how to meet Daughtry, give me a shout!!! It would make my year!!!
