I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I have watched Chris make his dream come true. As the wife of a service advisor for an automobile dealership, I realize the strain and stress that this type of work takes on not only ones self but the family. Having the courage (not to mention) the talent to change the course of your life is wonderful. The talent of this band is immeasurable.
REVISED 02/27/2007
I am also a fan for one very big reason - I watched (that show) this evening and realized why I am a fan. I recently had the privledge of seeing the band live in Tulsa and what a great show. I got to see the REAL BAND and the REAL CHRIS. After the concert in Tulsa, I saw the television interview the next morning and it had clips from AI. It showed Chris in a suit singing the Bryan Adams song ( "When You Love a Women" ) It showed that Chris could do anything necessary to reach his goal. Hollywood can dress you up in anything for commercial reasons however, they cannot take away what is inside and the dreams a person carries. Chris never let go of his style, dream and goal for the future. Just did what it took to get there. Maybe he swallowed his pride and found a way to get there and if that is the case the WAY TO GO! It has been a long time since I have seen a band that left a lasting impression for days. It seems as if I am going though an emotional let down, you know the whole leading up to a show that you knew about before most, getting up, venturing out in the snow on a Saturday morning to buy tickets waiting for the day to come to go to the concert and then the moment you get to spend an hour maybe more listening and connecting to the music. I know there will be other concert for me but not like I experienced in Tulsa. Thank you for taking the time and choosing my city for your small intimate setting. I am forever grateful!
