the first time I watched American Idol was the night before Chris was voted off...I tuned in because there was word the finalists would be singing Bon Jovi songs (I'm a huge Jovi fan)...but either their was a change or someone got their info wrong...but I had tuned in and watched the entire episode...when Chris sang I was blown away and I sat there that night and called and called in to vote for him...I thought this is what we need, a new and great rocker!! I was devasted when he was voted off ...then as soon as I heard he'd put a band together and was releasing an album I bought it as soon as it was released and was once again blown away...then when Bon Jovi announced their opening acts for a 10 night stand at the new Pru Center in Newark, NJ in Oct/Nov 2007 and I saw that Daughtry was opening for them on two of the nights I was sooo there...I've seen Daughtry open for Jovi a total of 5 times and each time they get better and better. I love Chris' voice and all the guys in the band are true rockers, they have a great energy on stage which is what's going to keep people coming in. I just love this band and look forward to their future.
And I can't wait for seeing them at the DE State Fair and Toms River this summer!!! Rock on!!!
