I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...

I know there is more to Chris than just his beautiful looks.... that is just a bonus! I remember the first time I saw him auditioning for AI when he walked out of the room with his golden ticket hidden in his cowboy hat. He mischeviously smiled then pulled it out and his wife was so happy for him. It brought tears to my eyes and I remember thinking back then that this guy was going to be somebody. I just kniew it. With his charisma, charm and infectious voice he won our hearts on AI and lit up that stage every week with some powerful performances. The night he was voted off my heart sank. I thought I was going to go into a deep depression without my Chris-fix and lost all hope in watching AI. I mean, was it really worth it if Chris was not there?!? Lucky for all of us, he came back stronger than any contestant and we get to share the gift of his music every day! His CD is going pretty much 24/7 around here ( and yes There and Back Again is my ringtone ). His words are piercing and meaningful. It is so refrehing to have a group like Daughtry who are so cool and unpretentious. I wish them all the best and look forward spending many more years following them on this amazing journey. I have been so fortunate to see Daughtry a couple of times this year and already have plans for the new year to see them again. Congrats guys.... you deserve it!
