Eye-wink

although we were RUNNING to the bathroom. A little too much at the GOAT...lol

The girl who won on Sunday (daughtryrocksx3) stood up there too. I think it all depends on what the venue is set up, I would imagine. Who knows?

We post to re-live...lol and to show some gratitude! YAY! Christina...you need to move to the Midwest! Eye-wink

that's why I stood THERE. Gotta leave the big guy for Cam (Steely too, after his 'show' for us) so I picked Joey and JP. I knew it would be pure entertainment! Smiling Never a dull moment with those two!

Just looking at those pics again...YAY! STEELY! Cam and Christina -- we were rockin' that platform so hard, I thought it go down in a BLAZE of glory! lol

HEY! What a night! You are right! I forgot to thank JP for coming over to our side and making faces at us...the 'hey I know you' thing. LOVE IT when he comes to the Steely side! I do! And, for the first time EVER...I could REALLY see Joey play WELL. He was playing the keyboard too, which I know he plays, I have seen that, but I haven't seen him do both at once! Nice!

Thanks for going NUTS with us. I did feel like we were the only ones in the whole place once the show started! ****AHHHHHHHH*****

LOVE!!!

I've been dying for Cam to post!!! First, thank you Cam for taking me in with you! I love you Goose!

You are right Cammie. It is so hard to wrap up any of the Daughtry concert experiences in words. It really is HARD. You can' t describe it. And if you post here, you all know what I am talking about. Saying it was awesome, or amazing, off the hook whatever, describes the EVENT, but it does not describe all the giddiness, excitement and just plain insanity that goes along with the whole process of getting ready, going to, attending and "finishing" a show. It is an EXPERIENCE every time! Especially when you do it with our DO girls!! More than a dozen shows later (and I know some of you have been to 50+!!!) I still can't wait for the next show. If you think about it, it is insanity!!! It really is. Sometimes I wonder if the guys think we are nuts!

Cam covered everything! It truly was HUGE to be able to be THAT close to them at a venue that holds over 40,000 people. It gives you a real perspective at what the crowd looks like from their point of view! I am so grateful to Cam and RCA for even offering us an opportunity like this in venues of this size. Thank you Terek, Karen, Molly and the guys!!!

Ok, the show. Smiling You Don't Belong is even more amazing live and just has an edge to it that l like...in addition to the mic moves. lol WOW. I saw the show on Sunday too, and I will tell ya that Tuesday's show was so much better overall -- from the energy in the building, the music, Chris' voice, the band interaction with the crowd and each other, the sound quality, and the energy of the band as a whole was just ON. Smiling Steely was really working the platform, and we all LOVED it and gave him love right back. That might be the best part of these shows...sharing the love! Thank you Steely!!!! Smiling Smiling
And, thank you JOEY for tossing 2 drum sticks our way. Those things are dangerous! lol Cam walked away with one!!! woo-hoo! Eye-wink

The UPDATE

Still snowing...

Streets are pretty clear, although I've only gone to school and back! We have about 6 + inches in the burbs and it is suppose to flurry until mid-afternoon. It is snowing right now.

Watch the hairdos! It is suppose to get GUSTY later...blowing and drifting snow. NICE.

WOO-WEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Drive safely, Connie, get your ^%$^&%$ in the car!!!!

See you all there!

Yup, that was us!!! GREAT SHOW!

First of all...LISA...WOW! Great pics! Nice view! Well done!!! Smiling

So, we get there and get into our seats for the first song...the new one "You Don't Belong" ...which I LOVE btw, and we are going NUTS because, well, they just do that to us...then our fun was interrupted when we were told we were in someone elses seats, and had to move one section over. Wrong staircase. Ooopsies. UGH! It is hard to see in the dark! So off to our seats. I liked our first ones better. Smiling Luckily we were in a spot where we could stand, scream and not annoy too many people! YAY!!!

We used mood lighting and blood curdling screams to show our love! And as Tiff will tell you, in our section, the people were watching US and not the show. TURN AROUND AND WATCH THEM!!!! Eye-wink There were a lot more people in their "seats" than I expected (based on earlier reviews). Maybe 92% full ??? lol That's just an estimation. Eye-wink

By the end of their set, I do think a lot of Jovi fans were getting into it. They did their job. They warmed up the crowd. Next time...introduce yourselves!! Heck, it is your moment to SHINE!

Jon really does know how to work the crowd and gets every inch of the stadium involved. I am not a huge fan (I like the 80's stuff) but you have to be in good aerobic condition to keep up with him! There was some serious hand pumping and jumping going on! BOUNCE! lol

Finally, best part about Jovi ...Richie's solo. He sang and played (btw he is GREAT!!!) while Jon had a wardrobe change...and he ROCKS. His voice is SOLID and strong!!!

Can't wait for tomorrow! Hope to see some of you there!
