I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Chris Daughtry and his band are truly amazing! Chris's voice is phenomenal, ofcourse, but I really respect the fact that he writes his own music. In today's music industry, I don't believe enough artists are taking part in writing their own music. The songs on Daughtry's CD come across very heartfelt, meaningful, and true. I also appreciate that I can understand every word Chris is singing; when I cannot understand the words of a song, there is no way to understand the meaning. Music is such an important factor in our world today. I know all of the songs on Daughtry's CD have touched many fans' lives, and I know that Daughtry will be involved in the music industry for a long time.

Chris showed what a wonderful person he is when he was involved with American Idol; he made everyone fall in love with him. I think he is a great role model, very down to earth, and I think we all could learn a lot from him. Chris mentioned on AI that his family comes first, and that is also one of my beliefs; I know that his family is very proud of him. I think if everyone thought that way, this world would be a better place to live.

I would love to be able to meet Chris and the rest of the band! I received the new CD for Christmas from my mother (who I think gave me the CD because she really wanted it for herself). I would love to win VIP tickets to be able to take my Mom to see Daughtry in concert and to meet Chris and the band! Ofcourse, I love the band also, and would be honored to meet them! We will hopefully see you in Odessa, Texas at Dos Amigos! Texas fans are the best!

I will be a fan forever because Daughtry is awesome and will be a staple in the music industry!
