I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Chris Daughtry is the most amazing artist ever for many reasons. The number one reason that I love Chris Daughtry is because of his faith in Jesus Christ. This past summer I came across some of Chris' songs from Absent Element. Breathe, Heart of Worship, and Angus Dei, I was soooo excited to hear Chris singing worship songs! wow! It made me like him even better and it impressed me so much. God has truly blessed him! I even used Chris' version to Breathe in one of my videos that I made for my church from my mission trip to Mexico. On Chris' thank yous in his cd, I loved, LOVED that Chris put God and Jesus Christ first. Jesus is truly is our example of love and Chris Daughtry is a great christian example for the music industry and the world today. When American Idol started last year and I saw Chris's audition and I knew right away that he was going to go far. I was a fan from that moment on. after I heard his voice I melted. It was amazing! When he sang the Letter for his audition it was breathtaking!"give me a ticket" aah.. it still gives me goosebumps! And then when he sang Sheryl Crow's song in Las Vegas, ah! I was hooked. When Daughtry's single came out, I called in to the radio stations and told them to start playing It's Not Over and when his cd came out I bought it the day of before I went home for fall break and I listened to it the whole 4 hours of my drive home from Northwestern Christian College in St. Paul, Minnesota to my hometown in Iowa. I am so happy for Chris, his story is inspiring, and it gives hope to everyone out there. God has truly used his losing in American Idol and made something extremely better. I get so excited when I hear that Daughtry is doing so well. I watched Chris sing the National Anthem for the Bears game (Go Bears) and I was just awestruck by his emotions and his sincerity! I get so excited at his success! yay! I would LOVE to meet Chris Daughtry and the band (whom I also think is amazing) it would be a dream come true. I heart you Chris! Keep the faith!
