I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...I recently had the pleasure of seeing The Guys live in Cape Girardeau, MO and my belief that they're one of the greatest bands around today, albeit one of the greatest bands EVER, was firmly cemented in my mind. From the moment the lights went down, I knew I was there for a Rock-N-Roll concert. And ROCK they did. For the first time, in a long line of rock concerts I've attended, I could hear the vocals! Oh, those sweet, sweet, vocals served up by none other than Chris Daughtry himself. His passion and intensity are more than audible, they are a viable entity all their own and can be FELT. He's authentic, he's "real", and if I dare say so, absolutely YUMMY! The band was on top of their game as well. As I said, the sound was amazing. Okay, it was loud...The bass was making me feel like I was having heart palpitations (or was it that I was so excited to finally witness, first hand, the wonder that is "Daughtry"?) Who knows? Who cares!! My point is...the band was RIGHT ON. I didn't hear one missed note, no squelches, no squeaks, NOTHING. Josh P.,"Steely", Joey, and Brian all came to ROCK OUR FACES OFF and they got it done! It doesn't hurt that they're ALL wonderful eye candy...absolutely delectable. : )
They delivered all that I'd expected--and I walked in to the arena with nearly unreasonable expectations! I walked out with a whole new respect for the man, the band, the 'legends-in-their-own-time'. When Daughtry takes the stage, they take hold of your soul. And you will never be the same.
