I'm a fan (and you should be too) because...DAUGHTRY is just awesome. I was a fan of Chris' in the beginning, and that has only continued to grow. I am amazed that in this short of time that this band has been able to achieve all that they have. Triple platinum album plus selling out concerts all over. I think that is incredible and also very well deserved.
Of course I was upset when Chris got voted off American Idol, but that has proven to be the best thing. I am so glad that Clive recognized his talent for songwriting, and that Chris was able to assemble such an awesome band. The fact that Chris wrote or co-wrote almost every song on the album is amazing.
Chris, Josh Paul, Josh, Joey, and Brian are one talented group of guys. One would think that they have been playing together for years because of the stage presence that they all have. They all seem to be so passionate in what they do. They are all about the fans. From the reviews that I have read about concerts, it does not matter if they are playing for a couple hundred people or thousands, they are all about giving the crowd what they want...great rock music.
This CD has not left my CD player since I bought it. I can put it on and just listen to it. There is a song for what ever mood I happen to be in. I just love it...what else can I say? It is not often that I find a band that I am impressed with every attempt that they have made, but DAUGHTRY has made me a believer in terms of their music and overall attitude toward what it means to be true artists.
I hope that one day I will get the chance to meet the band and thank them for the great job that they do. They have had to sacrifice a lot to make fans like me happy, and that really does mean a lot. I have no doubt in my mind that DAUGHTRY will be around for many years to come.
