I am a fan (and you should be too), because... There isn't too many musicians out there in the world today that have natural music abilities. Many of musicians sound like crap when they try to do anything acoustic. Daughtry on the other hand, could put it off with ease, and sound great.
I have watched American Idol since it began. When my Husband and I saw Chris audtion, we knew , he should win. Every week we voted for Chris, I would even call on my way to work from my cell phone if i couldn't get through at home, ( I work 3rd ) and when he got voted off , I had went to one of my co-workers funeral that day, called in to work, and sat back to watch American Idiol, praying it would put me in a better mood, only to find out Chris was going home, I cried, my husband said it would be okay. That we would be hearing more from him.
A bad day had turned worse. I still associate both events to that day.

I also have Tivo, for the longest time, we kept episodes recorded to watch Performances. When Shinedown came out with ' I dare you ' I said to my husband, I want to hear Chris sing that song. Then sure enough, I did, and Loved it. Also, Chris doing the song " Emotions " , which I love, made my husband like that song, only his verson from hollywood week though.

One morning on my way home from work, I heard " Its not over " on the radio.
It was at the middle of the song, but I knew that it was Chris Daughtry singing. I called my husband, and he said that he had heard it only once. Went out that day and searched, which is hard to do considering I have 4 small children, and finally found a cd at FYE in the mall. Which I have been listening to, non-stop.
