I am a fan (and you should be too), because it is not just about the music...it is about the band members, the voice, the instruments, the emotion, the never-ending drive to please the fans, the concerts, the myspace, the meet and greets, the pictures, the never before seen way that this band has skyrocketed to the top! Being in my 30s and a mother of three, I have lost a sense of "me" as an individual. Daughtry, and their music, have renewed a part of me that was buried underneath being a mother. In turn, I have a much more positive outlook on life. In a sense, I have become like a teenager again....having a passion for music that I have not felt in a very long time. I am awed by the voice/talent of Chris Daughtry. I am inspired by the way the band just seems to fit together with their incredible musical abilities. I am also overjoyed to know that my children can listen to a great rock band....one that has members with good moral standards and music that reflects their wonderful lives. It is for all these reasons and more that I will be a Daughtry fan for life and I will continue to spread the word about why my friends, family, acquaintances and even complete strangers should be fans too.
