Thanks everyone for sharing the great reviews, pictures and videos from the show in Greensboro. It's so cool to go to the shows and know you are surrounded by fans that are just as crazy as you are, even if you don't know exactly who and where they are in the crowd!
Arlie, Tammy and others that had lunch at Looney's, I am SOOO disappointed that I didn't get to meet up with you guys...if you haven't had a chance yet, go to my profile and read my blog about our crazy trip to Greensboro, or go to my MySpace page and read it and see the pics. Hopefully I will get another chance to meet some of you!
Mary, Cassyandra, and those of you that have had those 'Chris hugs', I can just imagine how great they are, and when you share your pics and memories, it allows the rest of us to live vicariously through you! THANK YOU!

We had such a great time at the show, Chris and the guys looked and sounded great, as usual, and Bon Jovi was definitely an added bonus! I had no idea they would put on such a rockin' performance! I think Daughtry and Bon Jovi is a great combination! If you want to hear a crazy story, click on my profile and go to my blog and read about our wacky roadtrip to get to Greensboro! It was 9 wild hours involving Nascar, illegal driving, a police escort, car-switching, and the love and devotion of a wonderful husband...

Hi ya'll, just thought I'd post a little entertaining story for anyone who wanted to read about our crazy road trip to Greensboro to see Daughtry & Bon Jovi!
It all started with me, my sister, & 2 of her girlfriends planning for the show in the last few days before the 16th. I wanted to leave as early as possible, because we had a 3 1/2 hour drive to Greensboro. If I had my way, we would stand out in front of the Coliseum for 4 hours to make sure we got there on time and didn't miss a minute of Chris. Plus, I wanted to meet up with Tammy & some of the other Daughtry girls for lunch Sunday, so I was really pushing everyone to get it together. But the other 3 gilrs were like, 'oh we have to work on Monday, and maybe on Saturday night, and i'm not sure if I can be ready on Sunday in the AM...' blah, blah , blah. So I told them to be ready at 9 am or I was leaving without them. So we got on the raod about 10am, close enough, I knew we still had plenty of time. So then we got caught in the race traffic for the Nascar race in Bristol. That put us about a hour behind. But I knew we were still okay. Not panicking...yet...so about 12:00 we are only to Wytheville, still about an hour & 1/2 to 2 hours from Greensboro. AND THEN THE UNTHINKABLE HAPPENED. My car literally BROKE DOWN on the highway! I was doing 75mph, trying to pass the slow pokes and my transmission literally died. It was gone. I had nothing but low gear. Now the panic started to set in...this was a MAJOR issue...this could seriously impact my Chris time! So anyway, not knowing what else to do, I drove down the shoulder of the highway at 20 mph for about 6 miles. Then, thank the Lord for the police, we ran into a police officer who 'escorted' us down the highway for 3 more miles at 20mph to the next exit. Then he actually got on his radio and asked dispatch to call the rental car place manager to come and open his place up and rent us a car--after we explained the situation to him, and where we were going--he was a Daughtry fan too!!! So anyway, the manager wouldn't come out on Sunday to rent us a car (jerk). We even asked the police officer to bring us, but that didn't work out either!! I called the local taxi service to see if they would take us from Wytheville to Greensboro, and what would it cost (like it mattered) and the guy actually thought it was a gag and he hung up on me!! By this time it is 1:30 and we have no way to get to Greeneveille. We are considering hitchhiking or stealing a car. So I called my husband and basically said, 'The car is broke down, I need a car, HELP!!' Of course, he's FREAKING out because my car is broken 2 hours from home, but I was just trying to keep him focused on the real issue, which was, how to get us to the concert! Anyway, after a couple of hours of calling people and trying to work it out, him and my uncle came down to Wytheville with my sister's car (which she happened to leave in my driveway, with the keys in it) and his truck to tow my van back home. So by 5pm we were back on the road and the broken car was out of my mind! We had 3 hours to get to Greensboro, and I was really starting to get nervous. We ended up getting there a few minutes after 7pm, right in the middle of all the traffic trying to get in to park. I started laughing and then crying hysterically, I think I almost had a nervous breakdown! I took us almost an hour to park and get in the building and to our seats..and Chris had already started! But we only missed about 5 minutes, so I was thanking God for working everything out and getting us there safely, after all the drama! I was so impressed with Daughtry and Bon Jovi. It was an absolutely amazing show, I just wish Daughtry would have played longer. I LOVED Blaze of Glory with Jon & Chris both singing...phenomenal!
I never get enough of seeing and hearing Chris sing, I can't wait until the next time, hopefully the roadtrip will be less adventurous!
By the way, I REALLY hate that I missed the lunch-get-together with the Daughtry girls. If anyone reading this was one that met for lunch and would like to have a 'new friend' please PM me and fill me in on how it went!! I was SO looking forward to having some new friends to enjoy my DAUGHTRY OBSESSION with! Thanks for sending positive energy and prayers my way as we made our way to Greensboro!

I just looked at the Toronto page and the winner for that show said she was notified 2 days AFTER the day the winners were going to be picked...(if I read that correctly) so if that's the case there is still hope for us all!
