I am a fan (and you should be too), because...I just love Daughtry. Let me explain how it all started for me...I was always a fan of American Idol, especially season 5. I watched every week and voted for Chris every week as well. No matter where I was I made sure that there was a tv so I could see him sing. My three sons 3, 8 and 11 watched too twice a week very week. They all to were routing for Chris. Well when he got voted off I along with everyone else watching AI was in complete shock. I did not watch AI for the next two weeks. But then I realized that actually AI introduced Chris to us. My boys wanted to hear Chris sing so I purchased his Absent Element cd Uprooted. Everytime we got in the car my 3 year old would say "Put on Chris". Well then came the American Idol tour. I went with 7 of my girlfriends to Nassau Coliseum and Chris rocked the place. Last year my husband and I decided we were going to move. New York taxes are way too much and we need to make a better life for our children. So we went to North Carolina to look for a new home because we knew of four families that had just moved there. While there we visited the community were three of the four families had moved into. While driving to the community we saw American Idol signs with Chris' name. That was really cool. When we arrived at one of our friends new home I mentioned to them seeing all the signs. They told me that Chris actually lived in that community..Birch Creek. That was pretty cool. I was shocked of all the places in NC we were visiting where Chris used to live. Even though he was no longer living there it was pretty cool since we were big fans. Then on 11/21 the day Daughtry came out my son and I went to GMA in NYC and saw you guys live. (My son was holding the sign 'My Mom loves Chris". You guys are awesome.
Now my 3 year old always asks me to put on Daughtry when we get in my car. And when It's Not Over is on the radio he goes wild. I am a fan because you guys are totally awesome and you make my 3 year olds day when he hears you guys. So thank you Daughtry..You guys make my day.....
