I am a fan (and you should be too), because...it's simple.. this is the best thing that has happened to some good ole boys that have strived for many years to make their music come alive, to make their dreams come true.. to make a way for their families and to become some of the best "ARTISTS" there are out there today! Chris, I have had utmost respect for you from day 1 ... knowing that you were such a family man.. that worked hard to provide and care for your family.. day and night.. you did whatever it took ... and now it has paid off for you and your loved ones. You have an awesome voice that always sends chills... I love "Daughtry's" talent and your music / the lyrics of each song on the CD titled "DAUGHTRY" in which has INSPIRED so many .. so many that are going through hard times... so many that have lost loved ones .. many that are sick and you bring light into their lives, so many that it just comes to show us all that no goal is ever too high that it can't be reached! "DAUGHTRY" has been committed to their fans and has shown us all in many ways just what WE mean to them. You ALL make us so proud not only here in NC but across the country / the WORLD!!! I often wonder "do they realize the impact that they have made on many... the inspiration that they have given to others?"?!! The same year that "DAUGHTRY" hit stores and started selling like hotcakes (soared the charts) was the same year that the North Carolina Fallen Firefighters Memorial was dedicated in Nash Square.. Raleigh, NC. Unfortunately, I have a brother whose name is on that Memorial.. he died Oct. 15th 2001 at age 28 leaving behind a 2 year old little girl and wife. I relate the two for a couple of reasons. 1) This was the same year that HISTORY was made... a Memorial to honor our North Carolina Fallen Firefighters that will live on for many generations to come and 2) A band was born .. "DAUGHTRY" which hit "HOME" and will forever inspire many .. will forever live on. There was an accomplishment made that my brother longed for himself. The accomplishment of becoming an Artist just as Chris, Joey, J.P., Steely and Brian have all done.. to be found by someone where the love and talent for music could be shared with the world.... and open many up to a new meaning of Rock... Through "DAUGHTRY" .. through the road each and every member has gone down to make it to where they are today... I am PROUD of you all and will forever be grateful... as I know how much that dream of becoming what you are has meant to you... and what it has meant to and done for me. I have learned valuable lessons, never take life for granted .. love as if there is no tomorrow and give back to others what has been given to you ... (in which you have done).

Another thing I would like to share is ... YES... DAY ONE I took the CD in to work and many have listened to it..... went out and bought many, many more.. for family .. friends... because it is such amazing music ... it's range of listeners are of many different ages and the music along with the Artists performing have made this CD one that makes us all feel alive... it has touched many..in many different ways. It's helped the older feel young again and it's brought a new meaning to being an "Artist"! All I can say is .. I AM SO PROUD OF ALL OF YOU for this AWESOME band that has been put together... for the love that you show your fans... and for all the inspiration that you give to many... for a long time.. an inspiration that was longed for that many had given up on. Thank you for being WHO YOU ARE.... I am a DAUGHTRY FAN and you should be too.. .because they ARE the most amazing group of men that have in some way.. taught many of us things about ourselves... our life and about others that we never knew .. and they WILL touch you too .. just as they have TOUCHED THE WORLD!!!!!!!! MUCH LOVE TO YOU ALL AND GOD BLESS AS YOU TRAVEL DOWN THIS AMAZING JOURNEY IN YOUR LIFE!!!!!!!!! THANK YOU FOR BEING TRUE.. THANK YOU FOR BEING YOU!!!!!!!!!
