I am a fan (and you should be too), because...
.) They ROCK (how 80s is that).
.) This is honestly one of the few CDs that I play from beginning to end without wanting to skip through songs...and the list of CDs that I will do that with is very, very short. Let me think...I can only think of 4 others.
.) I am proud to say that my 6-year-old son is developing a great taste for music. He tells me to turn up the volume every time I go to Daughtry's myspace page. ("Turn it up Mommy...its the cowboy singing". Yes, he calls Chris the cowboy because of Wanted Dead or Alive).
.) Chris' head is just perfect for cutting out his picture and putting it on a stick. Hours of family fun I tell ya.

.) You have to support great music and musicians in order to keep getting great music. Otherwise, record companies will just churn out crap for the masses.
.) I have briefly met the guys from the band and they were all welcoming, friendly, and down to earth. It was a relief that they gave us the time of day since we were waiting in the cold to get a picture with them. They could have told us to leave, but they didn't. They came over and took a picture with each one of us. (Is it bad for me to say that I was surprised that I DIDN'T find any ego trips with them)? Hello....you guys are Rock Stars!!!!!
.) The CD is so good that I gave them as Christmas gifts to everyone. I even got a free CD as swag at a job fair. Instead of taking a CD from another band, I took the CD that I already had a copy of in my car. You can never have enough Daughtry.
.) The songs are strong enough that both the studio version and the accoustic version kick butt. I was blown away by their on-air performance for a North Carolina radio station in October. It's Not Over never sounded better in my opinion. That's when you know you have something good. When people fall in love with a song after hearing it one time.
.) I wouldn't look as good dressed as, lets say, Chad Kroeger.

.) Last but not least, this band is easy on the eyes. A variety pack of goodies. Something for everyone (well, maybe not for the male fans...or maybe so...yeah, they are that hot). You have a rock god, a baby faced cutie, a tattoo punk, a ladies man, and a shy guy. Can you say heaven!
Edit: The baby faced cutie is gone, but he was replaced with someone from Virginia. Glad to see they have someone representing the VA.
