I am a fan (and you should be too), because... Chris Daughtry is the true word for inspiration. As a single mother for over 6 years with two small children, I genuinely respect any man that can take on the responsibilty of helping to raise children that aren't biologically there's. On New Year's Day, I married a man that is doing that as well. He loves my kids as if they are his, of course he has been in their lives since my son was a toddler. Men like that are few and far between.
Chris always mentioned his wife and kids and that made me respect and love him more each time I saw him and now each time I hear him sing. Me, my daughter, my son & my husband, all have his CD and it is in every vehicle we have and in every room in our house. We all think is is AWESOME!!!! We sing along to his music all the time. I guess you could say we have "Family Time" and that is what he represents most in my eyes. Family! I may have never met him and may never get to, but I will always love him and his music but most of all I will always admire him for the Father that he is and the example he is setting for "His" kids!

We all can't wait until he comes home and has a concert in his home state and hometown. What a reunion that will be!! I just hope it's soon! It would be a great birthday present for my daughter in March. She idolozes him.

Chris Daughtry, you are absolutely wonderful and my wish and prayer for you is that you will go farther than you could ever dream of going and never forget where you came from, because North Carolina will always be your home and we will always be ecstatic to see you.
