I am a fan (and you should be too), because...to be a Daughtry fan is truly an honor. Chris is such a genuine human being and he is truly cares for his fans. He in no way takes his fame for granted. It is so nice to see his appreciation for all that his fans have done to help him become what he is. Chris did all of the hard work to get where he is and he deserves every great thing that life has to offer.

I also admire his love and dedication to his family. There is nothing that says more about a person than being able to accept and love someone else's children as if they were your own. This is the measure of a great man.

And then there is the music. Never in my life have I been so anxious for a CD to be released or been at the store when it opened just to make sure I got it. That is how I felt when Daughtry was released. It is a CD that you can listen to from beginning to end and love every song. That is a rare find in music. As a stay-at-home mother of 5, some days are very challenging. It is those days that a little Daughtry gives me the pick me up I need to wipe one more nose, dry one more tear, change one more diaper, and cook one more meal. And on those days, Daughtry is a lifesaver.
