To everyone involved with Daughtry, thanks for playing at Freebird Live and the amazing show last night. Although I am sure you are and will be playing much larger venues, to me Freebird is the best venue there is. Just a stage and room to stand and great music. We stood in line for over an hour just to get in but it was more than worth it.
People had flown in from all over the country for this show. Chris comes out all tough and looking unapproachable to begin but within the first few songs it was like we had all been doing this together for years...
I was inclined to like Chris and his band from his Idol experience, but when I heard the cd I was blown away. I told the lead singer from one of the opening bands that I could not remember the last time I had heard such good, hard rock and I hadn't realized how much I had missed it.
Amazing concert, from all out crazy with the band to just Chris and his guitar.
I am looking forward to your next trip to Jacksonville.
