I am a fan (and you should be too), because...

Chris has had an impact on me and my family since the first day he was on American Idol.
Let me explain...
I am 37 years old. I'm married to the love of my life, who is 36. We have 3 kids...a 17 yr old son, a 15 yr old daughter, and a 2 yr old baby girl. We had always watched American Idol, mainly to laugh at the funnier auditions. When Chris walked in and sang "The Letter" the way he did, we all sat in front of our TV with our mouths hanging open, while our 2 yr old stood in front of the TV yelling, "DADDY!!!!", over and over(she still thinks I'm Chris!). HaHaHa
As soon as he walked out of the audition room, my Mom called me. I won't mention her age, but like I said, I'm 37, so you do the math! LOL She had NEVER listened to any rock music. In fact, she almost hated rock. Her first words to me on the phone were, "THAT is the winner!!!". Since that day, she has been one of Chris' TOP fans. She and I talk on the phone every single day, and we are usually talking about Daughtry. We bought several of Daughtry's CD's the day it went on sale, and it's been in my CD player ever since.
As most people know, Chris being voted off of American Idol was quite possibly the best thing that could've ever happened to him.....besides meeting Deanna!
Daughtry is now taking the world by storm, and anyone who has not already became a fan, is missing out BIG TIME! Everywhere I go, I make people listen. I TIVO every Daughtry performance on TV, and force anyone who comes to our house to watch them! LOL I have the CD cover set as my Desktop Wallpaper. I made a ringtone for all 4 cellphones in our house from "Home". I've printed up Daughtry T-shirts for all of us.(including one for our 2 yr old, that is ADORABLE!!!)....(she calls it her "Daddy Shirt" HaHaHa).

I guess if I had to sum up "Why I am a fan" in one sentence, it would be like this:
I am a fan (and you should be too), because...Daughtry is joining a very short list of artists who have changed the face of music, and if you miss the boat, you'll have a hard time explaining that when you're old. RIGHT, MOM?? HaHaHa - sorry, Mom, I couldn't resist!
