These boys are amazing...what can you say? Chris on Idol was my favorite-who can forget him bringing down the whole show with "Hemorrhage", one of the best songs EVER? But he's WAY better off without the show...and Fuel for that matter. Daughtry's in...they're out.
I always tell people that the mark of a great CD is when you can put it in your CD player and listen to it all the way through without skipping a song; this is one of those CDs. When I listen to it I hear a band...not just Chris Daughtry. The guitars and drums, in addition to the vocals and lyrics, are so well done that sometimes I just skip forward to the solos.
Best concert EVER
The boys were FABULOUS last night! When the show started off and he sang 'Crashed' I was totally over the multiple hour wait in a very sweaty, cramped atmosphere (We were right up front.) Chris' voice was AMAZING and they were all really getting into it and getting the crowd going. The band was having fun and it just really elevated the already hyped atmosphere.
One of my favorite songs of the night was probably Breakdown. Chris also sang an old Pearl Jam song and practically the entire daughtry CD. Best 5 bucks I ever spent but after seeing that I'd pay hundreds to go again.
