Joey is my almost 6 year old son! He is just amazing. He was born with a major heart condition back in 2001. He was diagnosed with Tetrology of Fellot (means there are 4 major complications with his heart).
He endured open heart surgery at Children's Memorial Hospital when he was just 3 months old. It was the hardest thing to go through. He made it through with flying colors and has grown into the most amazing boy ever. He is doing so well and the dr.'s said that there doesn't look like he will ever need future surgery!
He started wanting to be like Chris when he was on A.I. and has not stopped. He thought and still thinks he is the coolest! He wants to save his head! He watches Daughtry on t.v. ON DEMAND, on comcast. Flips through the music channels in hopes that he will be on. He doesn't want to watch cartoons, just music! Joe has asked for a guitar like Chris has for his birthday (Oct. 24th) and of course I have ordered one! Next year he wants drums (YIKES)
I took Joey to his first Daughtry concert on Aug. 30th and he was sooooooooo happy! It was the best feeling to see that smile on his face. I wish I could have afforded tickets closer, we had lawn and could not see anything! Regardless, he said it was "the best time of his life"! That is all that matters to me!
I just had to post this in hopes that Daughtry can just see how much they have touched even the smallest fans!
