I am a fan (and you should be too), because...who doesn't love a band with talent, guts and foot-to-the-pedal music? About a year ago, a guy named Chris Daughtry sang a snippet of "The Letter" on National TV and grabbed my attention. After his rendition of Fuel's Hemmorhage, I was hooked. Needless to say, I've closely followed his journey from AI contestant to the formation of this amazing band. Chris, your songwriting is cool and thought provoking--so real, sometimes haunting but always memorable. As the band has come together, I've grown even more excited. Joey, JP, Josh, Jeremy and now with Brian--all these guys are so talented. What a trip it's going to be watchin' their individual contributions rock this band into 2007 and beyond. Thanks for keeping it real and rockin'!
Love this CD!!
I often think about what it must have been like to be YOU writing and recording these songs last summer and early fall. After singing great (but not your own) songs on Idol, I think about what it must have been like to get into the studio and create something that's entirely YOU. It gives me chills thinking about how awesome that process must have felt. As your loyal fans were playing your versions of Hemmorhage or Walk the Line over and over, you were already creating new and exciting stuff.
