My VIP experience...
I'm so greatful to have had this opportunity. Yesterday was Euphoric!!
The soundcheck was so cool, I was front and center right below Chris and I didn't even want to take my eyes off of him to snap a pic ( I only took 4, I would later regret this) Seeing the guys "work" and do their thing was so cool, you felt like a part of their world. JP first came over and sat right down on the stage and started chatting with some fans - what a friendly guy! Chris apologized for being late and a little later when he went to sing something, I guess it wasn't pitch perfect enough for him, he stopped and explained he had just woke up.
The soundcheck was quick but amazing...Next, it was time to form another line for the Meet and Greet.
I was happy to be near the end of this line because I was so anxious I wanted to throw up (sorry to be gross)
My daughter's brithday too!
Alot of August 24th'ers around here.
Happy birthday!!!

Great Night!
As always, this show rocked. It was a little strange being in a gym, and a little uncomfortable sitting on bleachers but, hey for Daughtry it's all worth it.
I didn't care to much for the two opening bands, actually the second one was painful to sit through. But finally it was time.
I had good seats (side stage 116 second row) so I was able to see Chris before he made his entrance, pretty cool.
Chris wasn't feeling well but he still gave it his all and sounded great. He was pretty funny up there with his convo with the audience. Talking about the Grammy's and all...
And speaking of the crowd, it was very mixed, alot of families.
Anyway, the Band sounded phenominal!! They have grown so much as musicians and preformers in such a short time.
Well, I cut out in the middle of TABA (my fave, by the way) because I wanted it to be my turn to have an encounter (after 4 shows I had never had one, not that I ever tried, but you start to read about how almost everyone else has and you think Hey what about me) So I got my place right up against the baricade. After a long time JP came out and signed autograph and took pics with everyone. That was great he was sweet. And an even longer while later Chris came out and came over and started signing autographs, it was very nice of him to do considering how he felt and that it was freezing out. People were praising him and all he could do was whisper thank you (poor guy) I was like oh feel better, Blah Blah Blah, Rest your voice, Blab Blah... I was a complete muttering star struck fan. Then I nearly blinded the poor guy by snapping a pic right in his face as he was directly in front of me signing my ticket, I felt sooo bad, and apologized but I think he was thinking look at this crazy nut blinding me.
But I was very happy and I'm still obsessing over every detail. Thank you all for a great night.
Fantastic experience!
Okay, my seats were lousy side stage, mezzanine. But I got to see Chris as he watched Bon Jovi so that was a plus.
Anyway, the boys sounded amazing as always, I was upset when it was over so soon, but I loved the little bit of Home sweet Home and I walk the line. I almost fell over when I was rockin out to There and Back Again, those were some steep steps.
Now I had never seen Bon Jovi in concert before, and just let me say, my Oh My, that man can rock!! He sang for 2 straight hours and he has some fancy footwork. The band was flawless. I was pleasantly surprised.
Here's my only issue: It's kind of weird being surrounded by fans that are all not entirely DIEHARD Daughtry fans. Did anyone feel that way?
Maybe I'm weird.
The prudential is huge and beautiful. I hope 25 years from now Daughtry can sell out a show and have 15,000 people singing all the words to their songs, just like Bon Jovi did last night.
Bring what clip of the video? They had just said that the video had not been shot yet. What did he mean? Did he screw up? Chris was serious when he asked that. That Damien annoyed me.
But the boys looked great and they definately look like they are having a ball.
VIP entry
On the 18th day before Christmas, my favorite band gave to me,
a chance to meet them,
