I only started watching Idol this past season (2007), so I wasn't too familiar with Chris. I didn't even know who Chris was. I just kept hearing Home every time someone was voted off, then I start hearing it played on my local radio station. Then they start playing It's Not Over and thought, this guy has a great voice and there's some promising, potentially rocking guitar there. I had a real strong feeling there'd be more to this CD than the radio station is playing. So, I bought the CD and played it through 3 times and was blown away by how much I LOVE this band! My favorite song is Over You. The melodies in this song and Chris' voice have reawakened an enthusiasm and natural high I haven't experienced with very many bands in recent years. I'm a veteran rocker chick so I know of which I speak. My first concert was Chicago in 1976 when I was 10, my first concert without my Dad was Cheap Trick at 13...my fave band of all time is Rush. I've seen them every tour since 1979. I've seen almost every rock band in between the Rolling Stones to Megadeth. You came into my life at a time when I was beginning to think there were no more true rockers yet to come. I cannot wait to hear the next CD. When will we hear some new music, guys?
